Dave was born at Ft Bragg, NC, and raised in Fayetteville, NC. He is a graduate of Terry Sanford High School, attended Western Carolina University and graduated from Methodist College (now Methodist University) with a B.A. in Business Administration. Dave was honored in 1998 as the Methodist College Business and Economics Alumnus of the Year. Besides being a founding member of Mid-South Sports, Inc. and currently a co-owner, Dave has spent over 30 years in business management, 19 of those years in the Telecommunications Industry. Dave is involved with many community organizations including serving on the Boards of Directors of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Museum of the Cape Fear, Methodist University, and the West Fayetteville Rotary Club. Dave and his wife Patty have two daughters Kymberly and Karlyn, two grandsons Lee and Walker, and a granddaughter, Savannah.
