BILL McMILLANBill joined Mid-South Sports in mid-season 2007. Since then, he has roamed the sidelines bringing you the action at field level. Bill is a native of Fayetteville and is a 1985 graduate of EE Smith High School. He played football and basketball there, but it was on the baseball field where he excelled as he was a 4 year letterman as a pitcher/1st baseman. Bill played one year of college baseball at Campbell University where he played for another Fayetteville native, the late Cal Koonce. Bill spent 18 years working in the travel and hospitality industry before returning to Fayetteville in 2005. He is now the Executive Director of the Re-Store Warehouse where he spearheads the effort to raise money for Fayetteville Urban Ministry and Habitat for Humanity. He has served as the chairman of the Fayetteville/Cumberland County Chamber’s Leadership Fayetteville Program, the Vice-Chairman of the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival and coached Dixie Youth Baseball at the Kiwanis Recreation Center. He is formerly the co-host of the Up & Coming Weekly Preview Show and his own NASCAR program, Around the Track with BillyMac. Bill and his wife Mandy have a daughter, Caroline. |
